Harboring a love for classical music and mechanical engineering from an early age, Dan studied classical piano to diploma level and went on to study music production at Leeds College of Music, gaining a 1st class honours.
After graduating in 2013 Dan went on to write music and create bespoke sound effects for an indie games company Fortunefish Ltd in Nottingham. He then began working as an assistant to various composers, recording and mixing library music.
Dan then moved to Manchester to work at 80 Hertz Studios as an assistant engineer working on ADR TV and film work, as well as being a music copyist and librarian for sessions recorded at Abbey Road. Dan eventually made the move to London to start as a runner for Abbey Road at the start of 2017.
